After saying Good Bye to Andrew, Anu and I took a short-cut and rarely walked trail for Thulo Shaybru. The day was so long for us that we hardly managed to reach to TS. That was the most disappointing day in our 14 day-long tour. We had forgotten to bring water, and there was no water available on the four-hour-long steep, all the way up, trail that went through a dense jungle. There was no sigh of life, except some monkeys (apes) jumping form one tree to another. I was thinking that after walking for about 2 hours, we could be in our destination village. I was wrong as it happened most of the time in the trek. In the jungle, I eat Rhododendron flowers and soon my companion was following that! Good for her. The nonstop 14-hour-long trek on that day made us so tired that we slept up to 12 am the next day. Everyone was surprised hearing that we covered that trail in a day.
